Cooperation between China and UK in Service Outsourcing Industry Roundtable and Infrastructure Enterprises CEO Roundtable was held in London in the afternoon of November. Mr. Zhong Shan, Vice Minister of Commerce attended and addressed the Roundtable.



Vice Minister Zhong said that UK and China are highly complementary economically. The Great Britain have outstanding advantages in the field of high-end manufacturing, financing, creative industry, energy saving and environmental protection, while China is a big manufacturing country, and have advantages in the scale of manufacturing, supply for labor and market potential. The Chinese Government is stepping up its economic restructuring and industrial upgrading, and is committed to building a resource-saving and environment-friendly society, which will provide Sino-British economic cooperation with a broader space.



Vice Minister Zhong said that, the Roundtable build a good platform for communication and exchanges between the service outsourcing, infrastructure enterprises of both two countries and was a good start. The governments of both two countries paid great importance and push forward to the Roundtable. Through the positive interaction between Chinese and British enterprises and a full play to their own comparative advantages, a long-term mechanism of mutual trust and mutual benefit was established. Service outsourcing, and infrastructure industries in the Sino-British cooperation will and broad prospects. Cooperation between China and UK in service outsourcing industry and infrastructure will have broad prospects.



The Roundtable was held by Chinese Service Outsourcing Research Center, China International Contractors Association and UK Trade & Investment Agency. Nearly 160 representatives from UK Trade & Investment Agency, enterprises, commercial institutions, associations attended the Roundtable.
